Ingredients
- 8 ounces pasta of choice i used small shells
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup each vegetable stock and dry white wine
- 4 ounces crumbled gorgonzola cheese
- 3 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon each nutmeg and black pepper
How To Make pasta with creamy gorgonzola sauce

Step 1Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside reserve 1/4 cup pasta water

Step 2Add the butter to a large pot big enough to accommodate the pasta. Let the pasta melt and whisk in the flour. Cook a minute. Add the wine and let reduce a bit about 2 minutes. Add the heavy cream, and vegetable stock. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer. Add the cheese and simmer stirring frequently for 10 minutes. Until reduced and thickened. Add in the reserved pasta water and the pasta. Let cook 2 minutes.

Step 3Stir in the parsley, nutmeg, and black pepper. Serve
