- FOR THE PESTO
- 3 cups cilantro
- 1/4 cup pine nuts
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup american grana cheese grated
- salt and pepper
- FOR THE PASTA
- 8 ounces pasta of choice
- shredded american grana cheese for garnish
How To Make pasta with cilantro pesto & american grana

Step 1For the Pesto Place the cilantro, pine nuts, zest, juice, garlic and olive oil in food processor.

Step 2Process until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Step 3Stir in the cheese and taste to adjust for salt and pepper.

Step 4Cook the pasta in boiling salted water and drain. Stir the cilantro pesto into the warm pasta. Serve immediately topped with more cheese.
