this recipe came from my cuz....he brought it to our family reunion...it is OMG Good

I used Durkees French Fried onions instead of the bread crumb toppping....it was yummy

You can cut the calories by using low fat cottage cheese and low fat sour cream and 2% cheddar....I haven't tried it though...if you do please let me know how it tastes...

Ingredients

  • 8 oz
    elbow macaroni
  • 8 oz
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 12 oz
    small curd cottage cheese
  • 8 oz
    sour cream
  • 1/4 c
    parmesan cheese
  • 1 c
    bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c
    melted butter

How to Make OMG Mac n Cheese

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
    Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil, add pasta, and cook until done; drain.
  2. In 9x13 inch baking dish, stir together macaroni, shredded Cheddar cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. In a small bowl, mix together bread crumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle topping over macaroni mixture.
  3. Bake 30 to 35 minutes, or until top is golden.
