Ingredients
- 1 package macaroni, elbow
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon brown mustard
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
- 1/4 cup grated red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped sweet pickle
- 3 - celery ribs, chopped
- 1 - chopped green bell pepper
- 1 cup cubed ham (opt)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded carrot
- - kosher salt and black pepper to taste
How To Make old fashioned macaroni salad

Step 1Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until tender. Drain and set aside.

Step 2In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, sugar, celery seed, grated onion and chopped sweet pickle. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 3Stir in celery, bell pepper, ham, cheddar cheese, and carrot.

Step 4Stir in drained pasta, cover and refrigerate for at least one hour before serving. Enjoy
