box of mac noodles
1/4 c
1 can(s)
evaported milk (12oz)
1 1/2 c
chicken broth
1 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp
dry mustard
3/4 Tbsp
1/4 Tbsp
2 c
cheddar cheese

How to Make ol' fav mac and cheese


  • 1Boil noodles and set aside
  • 2In a med sauce pot melt butter on low
  • 3Add flour and stir for 3 min. (This should make a flour ball)
  • 4Slowly stir in evaporated milk. (I like to whisk so that I have no lumps) stir until thick (this takes about 8 min or so)
  • 5Stir in chx broth, worcestershire, dry mustard, ssalt, pepper. Stir until it thickens again
  • 6Stir in most of cheese (hold out enough for top)
  • 7Mix noodle and cheese mix together
  • 8cover and cook on 350 for 30-35 min. I use a 8x8 pan
  • 9Top with left over cheese
