So much better than the packaged variety and easy to make. I sometimes add cubed, cooked chicken to make a main dish. Otherwise we like this as a side dish to chicken or steak.

Ingredients
- 8 ounces wide egg noodles
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, divided
- 1 tablespoon chives, snipped (i only use when fresh are available)
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground white or black pepper
- 1 large clove garlic, crushed
- 2 tablespoons butter
How To Make noodles romanoff

Step 1Cook noodles, drain return to pan and set aside.

Step 2While noodles are cooking stir together sour cream, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, chives, salt, pepper and garlic.

Step 3Add butter to drained warm noodles. Fold in sour cream mixture. Arrange on a warm platter and sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.
