We love these noodles! Very garlicky and sour. My son named them! I came up with this when I was having trouble with my gallbladder. The garlic, lemon juice, cider vinegar, and hot sauce can help with mild gallstones passing for some people.

Ingredients For mommy's special noodles

  • 1/2 lb
    wide egg noodles
  • 7 clove
    garlic, pressed
  • 3 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1/2 c
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 c
    lemon juice
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    hot sauce, your favorite brand
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste, fresh ground is best
  • 1 Tbsp
    parsley flakes

How To Make mommy's special noodles

  • 1
    Cook noodles to desired doneness in salted water. Drain and set aside.

    In same pot you cooked the noodles in, add olive oil and pressed garlic. Turn on to medium heat. Cook garlic 1 to 2 minutes or until fragrant.

    Add rest of ingredients and bring to a simmer. Remove from heat.
  • 4
    Add the cooked noodles and toss lightly or stir qell to coat. Serve hot.
