Ingredients
- 8 ounces angel hair pasta
- 8 tablespoons butter
- 1 medium onion diced
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 8 ounces shiitake mushrooms sliced
- 2 tablespoons white miso paste
- 1/4 cup fresh basil chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
How To Make miso-buttered noodles with mushrooms and onions

Step 1Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the angel hair pasta and cook until al dente. Drain reserving 1 cup of pasta water.

Step 2Add 4 tbsp butter to large skillet. Add the onion, garlic and mushrooms. Saute until onions are softened and mushrooms browned. Add the remaining butter.

Step 3Add the Miso paste and the reserved pasta water. Cook until thickened. Add the pasta Stir until pasta is coated with the sauce. Top with Basil and sprinkle with Red Pepper flakes
