Ingredients For macaroni salad

  • 12 oz
    elbow macaroni, cooked
  • 1 c
    mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    brown mustard
  • 2 tsp
    sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    celery seed
  • 1/4 c
    grated red onion
  • 1/4 c
    chopped sweet pickle
  • 3 stalk
    celery,chopped
  • 1
    green bell pepper, cored and chopped
  • 1 c
    cooked chicken or ham
  • 1/2 c
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c
    shredded carrot
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 slice
    cooked bacon, crumbled

How To Make macaroni salad

    In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, sugar, celery seed, grated onion and chopped sweet pickle

    Season with salt and pepper
  • 3
    Stir in the celery, bell pepper, ham and/or chicken, bacon, cheese and carrot
  • 4
    Stir in cooked and drained pasta, cover and refrigerate for at least one hour
