This recipe uses honey mixed in with the mayonnaise. I've taken to lots of BBQ's. Everyone loves it.

Ingredients For macaroni salad

  • 1 lb. box cooked elbow macaroni
  • 1 red pepper, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 2 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  • 5 tablespoons honey
  • 6 hard boiled eggs, sliced
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • paprika

How To Make macaroni salad

  • 1
    Cook eggs and set aside. Chop both peppers and celery, set aside. Cook macaroni in boiling salted water. Place macaroni in colander to drain. Place the macaroni, peppers and celery in a large bowl and mix.

    Whisk together the mayonnaise and honey, pour over macaroni and veggies, stir until well mixed. Slice the eggs, place over salad. Sprinkle paprika over eggs and serve.
