I have over 100 Mac & Cheese recipes. I am constantly looking for the "Ultimate Mac & Cheese Recipe"...This is my favorite one so far. It is also the easiest. Charlie and I can eat the whole bowl in one sitting. We absolutely love this recipe!

  • 1/4 c
  • 2 c
    macaroni, elbow
  • 1 c
    cottage cheese, small curd
  • 8 oz
    colby cheese, shredded
  • 4 oz
    colby & monterey jack cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 tsp
    konriko hot'n spicy creole seasoning (you can substitute tony chachere's creole seasoning)
  • 2 3/4 c
    boiling water

How to Make Macaroni & Cheese #1


  1. Spread butter on bottom of casserole dish.
  2. Add rest of ingredients except for the water in a large bowl. Mix together well then place in buttered casserole dish.
  3. Add the boiling water. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for about 1 hour. Let set for about 10 minutes before serving.
