    grated parmesan cheese,divided
  • 1 lb
    dry elbow macaroni
  • 3 Tbsp
    garlic butter,divided
  • 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 c
    whole milk
  • 1 c
    half and half
  • 1 bottle
    garlic parmesan sauce
  • 1 c
    shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 c
    shaved parmesan cheese
  • 1 pkg
    (8 ounces) cream cheese,softened
  • 2
    banana peppers,sliced
  • 10
    buttery round crackers,crushed

How To Make macaroni and garlic parmesan?

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.Coat a 13-x 9-inch baking dish.Add 1 cup grated parmesan cheese.

    Cook macaroni according to package directions:drain.

    Melt 2 tablespoons garlic butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.Gradually whisk in flour:cook,whisking constantly,1 minute.

    Gradually whisk in milk,half & half and garlic parmesan sauce until smooth;cook,whisking constantly,8 to 10 minutes or until slightly thickened.

    Mix 1 cup grated,shredded and shaved parmesan cheese and cream cheese until smooth.Remove from heat and stir in sliced banana pepper and cooked macaroni.
