    egg, beaten
  • 2 & 1/2 c
    sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 c
    velveeta, shredded
  • 1 tsp
    dry mustard
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 c

How to Make Macaroni and Cheese


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain well.
  2. Reserve a small amount of cheese.
    Add butter, egg and reminaing cheese to hot macaroni; mix well.
  3. Pour into a 1 & 1/2 quart buttered casserole dish.
  4. Mix dry mustard, salt and 1 Tablespoon hot water in small bowl. Stir in milk. Pour over casserole.
    Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes or until set and top is crusty.
