Macaroni and Cheese Casserole

16 ozelbow macaroni
1 lbcheddar cheese, grated
8 ozmonterey jack cheese with jalapeno peppers, grated
1 tspblack pepper
1 tspdry mustard
8 ozcream cheese, softened
5 ozevaporated milk
How to Make Macaroni and Cheese Casserole
- Boil macaroni in salted water, al dente (about 6 minutes). Drain, do not rinse.
- Add butter and cream cheese, 8 ounces grated cheddar cheese, and grated pepper jack cheese. Combine until cheeses are melted.
- Combine salt, pepper, dry mustard into a beaten egg. Temper the egg by adding a teaspoon of the hot mixture to the egg and stirring. Add to the macaroni mixture.
- Pour into a greased casserole dish. Pour the evaporated milk of the casserole and let soak in. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes.
