Our family loved eating at Luby's when we were growing up. I always got their mac & cheese along with the fried fish. Yum! :)

Ingredients
- 2 cups dry elbow macaroni
- 2 tablespoons nonfat dry milk
- 2 tablespoons all pourpose flour
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted
- 1 1/4 cups boiling water
- 3 cups shredded yellow american cheese from the deli
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
How To Make luby's macaroni and cheese

Step 1Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain.

Step 2Heat oven to 350.

Step 3In large bowl, mix dry milk, flour, and butter. Gradually add boiling water, wisking constantly. Add 1 1/2 cups of cheese and continue to wisk until smooth & creamy.

Step 4Stir in macaroni, 1 cup of the remaining cheese, and salt. Transfer to a lightly greased 2-Quart baking dish. Cover with foil. Bake for 25 minutes.

Step 5Remove foil. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Continue baking 1 minute or until cheese melts.
