Ingredients
- 8 ounces linguine
- salt
- SAUCE
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 pound mushrooms chopped
- 1 cup fresh parsley chopped
- salt and pepper
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded grana padano cheese or parmesan
How To Make linguine with mushroom parsley sauce

Step 1Place linguine in boiling salted water and cook until almost al dente. Drain reserving 1/2 cup pasta water

Step 2For the sauce Add the butter to saucepan. When the butter is melted add the garlic and mushrooms. Saute for about 3 minutes. Add the parsley. Cook 2 more minutes.

Step 3Add the wine and let reduce by half. Add the cream and cheese. Add the pasta water and linguine. Cook about 3 minutes. Taste and add salt and pepper.
