Ham Pasta Salad

My family really loves this pasta salad. It is mighty tasty. I make this as a side dish for many different meals. It's is a great salad anytime of the year. It's not just for summer cookouts.

If making for a crowd..just double...

pasta of choice
4 Tbsp
white wine vinegar, i have used red also
2 Tbsp
dijon mustard
2/3 c
extra virgin olive oil
2/3 c
sour cream
1/2 c
red onion, minced
6 oz
cooked ham, diced small
3/4 c
frozen baby peas, thawed
ribs celery, diced
1/2 c
cheddar cheese, shredded
hard boiled eggs, chopped
2 Tbsp
fresh dill, chopped..i have used dried dill
2 Tbsp
2 tsp
pepper to taste

How to Make Ham Pasta Salad


  • 1Cook pasta according to package instructions.

    Drain well and let cool slightly. Transfer to a large bowl.
  • 2In a small bowl, combine the vinegar and mustard.

    Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking.
  • 3Whisk in the sour cream and season with 2 teaspoons salt and pepper, to taste.
  • 4Add the onion, ham, peas, celery, cheese, eggs and dill to the pasta and mix.

    Add in the dressing and stir to coat the pasta.

    Season with more salt and pepper as desired.

    ** I have used Turkey, Tuna, Salami, Pepperoni to this before..all are delicious!
