german spaetzles
if there are any leftovers, this is awesome fried in a little bit of butter and eaten with eggs for breakfast the next morning! this is my mom's German mother's recipe. Its always a hit with us! Can be easily doubled or tripled for leftovers!

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 - eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup water
How To Make german spaetzles

Step 1bring a pot of water with a pinch of salt and a little bit of oil to a boil

Step 2put a little bit of the spaetzle dough into a spaetzle maker or a large holed seive or metal grater and press the dough through to drop into the boiling water

Step 3boil for about 5-8 minutes

Step 4use a slotted spoon and scoop the cooked spaetzles out of the water and into a colander to drain

Step 5once drained, place into a bowl and toss with some butter
