Ingredients
- 8 ounces fettuccine
- 1 small onion chopped
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- zest and juice of 2 lemons
- 8 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup freshly grated pecorino romano
- salt and ground black pepper
How To Make fettuccine with lemon

Step 1Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente

Step 2Meanwhile add some oil to a skillet and cook the onion and garlic until softened. Add the red pepper flakes and lemon juice and zest. Bring to a boil and boil 1 minutes

Step 3Remove from heat and stir in the butter and season with salt.

Step 4Drain the pasta and place back in pan. Add the lemon mixture and Pecorino Roman cheese. Mix well and serve sprinkled with pepper
