Ingredients
- 1 medium butternut squash cooked and mashed
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 medium onion diced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 8 ounces fresh mushroom sliced
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1 cup heavy cream
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta cooked and drained
- 2 tablespoons fresh or dried sage
How To Make fettuccine w butternut squash mushroom cream sauce

Step 1Melt the butter in a large saute pan. Saute the onion and mushrooms over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook 3 minutes.

Step 2Add the squash, chicken broth, and cream. Bring to a simmer and cook stirring until reduced a bit. Add the parmesan cheese and stir and cook until melted.

Step 3Add the fettuccine tossing to coat well. Top with fresh or dried sage
