easy crockpot macaroni and cheese
(1 RATING)
I got this recipe for Mac and Cheese in a crockpot from a good friend of mine (she can't remember where she got it from) whose name happens to be Karen too. It's a great, quick dish that you could doctor up with your add ins to make a one pot dinner or leave it alone for a side dish with hardly any prep at all. I make it all the time and my family loves it

- 1 lb - velveeta cheese
- 1 lb - shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 stick butter
- 2 cups milk
How To Make easy crockpot macaroni and cheese
-
Step 1Boil macaroni as directed. Drain but do not rinse.
-
Step 2While macaroni is cooking cut the Velveeta into small cubes.
-
Step 3Return macaroni to the pan and add Velveeta, Cheddar cheese and butter. Stir until cheeses and butter are melted. Stir in milk after cheeses and butter are melted. I use kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper to season.
-
Step 4Spray or butter your crock (I use one of the crockpot liners, easier cleanup). Pour mixture into the crockpot. Cook 1 hour on HIGH and 1 hour on LOW. DO NOT STIR!!
