  • 8 oz
    cooked and drained pasta - i used a mixture
  • 1 can(s)
    evaporated milk
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of cheddar soup
  • 8 oz
    block- white sharp cheddar cheese - shredded
  • 1/4 c
    real bacon bits - divided
  • pinch
    cayenne pepper, optional
  • 1/8 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    each - salt, pepper and onion powder
  • 4 Tbsp
  • handful
    seasoned panko crumbs

How to Make ~ Creamy White Cheddar & Bacon - Mac & Cheese ~


  1. Prepare pasta, drain, cover and set aside.

    Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Spray an 11 x 7 casserole dish or a 9 inch deep pie plate with non stick spray or grease with butter.

    In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add soup, milk, cheese, spices, butter. Cook and stir until cheese and butter is melted and you have a silky sauce. Don't burn. Stir in 3/4 of the bacon.
  2. Mix the sauce with the pasta. Spread into prepared dish. Sprinkle with Panko crumbs and remainder of bacon.
  3. Place in oven and bake for 25 - 30 minutes or until nice and bubbly. Serve immediately.
