Creamy Orzo & Rice

I just made this last night off the top of my head and loved it. Try it and let me know what you think. I served it with roast chicken and steamed broccoli.

Stove Top


  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1/2 small
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic minced
  • 1 c
    orzo pasta
  • 1 c
    jasmine rice
  • 2 tsp
    fresh cracked black pepper
  • 2 tsp
  • 3 c
    chicken stock low sodium
  • 2 Tbsp
    dried parsley
  • 1/4 c
    parmesan cheese

How to Make Creamy Orzo & Rice


  1. Saute oil, butter, garlic and onions for 5 minutes. Add orzo and rice and toast them for 5 mins.
  2. Slowly add in chicken stock. Stir. Cover and cook 20 minutes. Stirring occasionally. Add parsley and Parmesan cheese stir and serve.
