2 c
elbow macaroni, uncooked
4 Tbsp
butter, cut into pieces
2 1/2 c
grated sharp cheddar cheese
eggs, beaten
1/2 c
sour cream
10 3/4 oz
(1 can) condensed cheddar cheese soup
1/2 Tbsp
1 c
milk, whole
1/2 tsp
dry mustard (optional)
1/2 tsp
black pepper

How to Make Creamy Mac and Cheese


  • 1Boil the macaroni in a 2 quart saucepan in plenty of water until tender, about 7 minutes. Drain.
  • 2In medium saucepan, mix butter and cheese. Stir until cheese melts.
  • 3In a slow cooker, combine cheese/butter mixture, eggs, sour cream, soup, salt, milk, mustard, and pepper. Stir well.
  • 4Add drained macaroni and stir again. Set slow cooker on a low setting and cook for 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
