Two words....delicious and very creamy! This is a no fail mac and cheese that serves a crowd! Everyone wants the recipe.

dry mustard

butter (1/2 stick) cut into pieces
1/2 c
sour cream
1 103/4 oz
can of cheddar cheese soup
3 eggs
2 1/2
grated sharp cheddar cheese (10 ounces)
2 c
uncooked elbow macaroni (an 8 ounce box is not quite 2 cups)
1/2 tsp

How to Make Creamy Crockpot Mac and Cheese


  • 1Boil the macaroni in a 2 quart saucepan until tender, about 7 minutes and drain well.
  • 2In a medium saucepan mix butter and cheese and stir until cheese melts. Combine cheese/butter mixture, sour cream, cheddar cheese soup, salt, milk, mustard and pepper and stir well.
  • 3Add eggs and drained macaroni and stir again.
  • 4Set the slow cooker (at least a 4-5 quart crock pot or halve the ingredients and use a 3 quart) on low setting and cook for 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
