Ingredients
- cup whole milk
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons butter (1/2 stick) cut into pieces
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 103/4 ounces can of cheddar cheese soup
- 3 eggs - beaten
- 2 1/2 - grated sharp cheddar cheese (10 ounces)
- 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni (an 8 ounce box is not quite 2 cups)
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
How To Make creamy crockpot mac and cheese

Step 1Boil the macaroni in a 2 quart saucepan until tender, about 7 minutes and drain well.

Step 2In a medium saucepan mix butter and cheese and stir until cheese melts. Combine cheese/butter mixture, sour cream, cheddar cheese soup, salt, milk, mustard and pepper and stir well.

Step 3Add eggs and drained macaroni and stir again.

Step 4Set the slow cooker (at least a 4-5 quart crock pot or halve the ingredients and use a 3 quart) on low setting and cook for 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
