Ingredients

  • 1 - 12 ounces can, evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 - egg, beaten
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons butter - melted
  • 8 ounces velveeta, cubed
  • 8 ounces block, sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups macaroni
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • salt - & pepper to taste

How To Make ~ comforting mac & cheese ~ slow cooker

  • Step 1
    Cook macaroni al dente, drain and rinse. In a large bowl, mix together the milks,egg, mustard and butter. Stir in the Velveeta and 1 1/2 cups of the shredded cheddar, fold in the drained macaroni. Spray a 3 - 4 quart slow cooker with cooking spray or grease. Pour the macaroni mixture into crock. Cover and cook on low for 2 - 3 hours or until set. Stir once and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Salt and pepper to taste.
