Ingredients
- 1/2 cup elbow macaroni
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup milk
- 3/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 teaspoons bread crumbs
How To Make broccoli mac and cheese

Step 1Boil water and add macaroni. Bring back to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.

Step 2Add broccoli and boil for 2 minutes.

Step 3Drain broccoli and macaroni, set aside.

Step 4Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 5Melt butter in small saucepan.

Step 6Add flour and combine.

Step 7Whisk in milk and bring to a boil, whisking constantly.

Step 8Add 1/2 cup of the cheese, whisking until melted.

Step 9Remove from heat and stir in cooked macaroni and broccoli.

Step 10Pour into a small buttered casserole dish.

Step 11Sprinkle with bread crumbs and remaining cheese.

Step 12Bake for 30 minutes, until lightly browned and bubbly.
