This is my sister, Ginger's favorite dish to fix for any type of gathering, rather it is for a family get together, church homecoming, or a dish needed for a potluck supper....you can bet Ginger will have this dish in her hand when she comes through the doors. *Google pic*

Ingredients

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni, cooked & drained
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry ground mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

How To Make baked macaroni & cheese

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 350. Melt margarine in 3-qt. sauce pan over low heat. Stir in flour, salt & pepper, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture is smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in milk. Heat till boiling. Boil for 1 minute. Stir in cheese. Stir until cheese is melted. Stir macaroni into cheese mixture. Pour into greased casserole dish. Bake uncovered for 25 minutes.
