Ingredients

  • 3 cups macaroni, dry
  • 3 - eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups evaporated milk
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 8 ounces velvetta cheese
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • - salt and pepper
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 cup mild cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup monterey jack cheese
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, fresh

How To Make baked macaroni and cheese

  • Step 1
    BOIL WATER FOR MACARONI:ADD SALT TO TASTE.ADD MACARONI AND STIR OCCASIONALLY UNTIL TENDER, DRAIN AND RINSE NOW ADD BUTTER TO MACARONI.
  • Step 2
    IN A BOWL MIX SOUR CREAM,EGGS AND MILK : NOW STIR IN MACARONI AND MIX WELL ,ADD ONION POWDER,GARLIC POWDER,LEMON JUICE, AND SUGAR MIX WELL.
  • Step 3
    NOW STIR IN CREAM CHEESE AND VELVETTA CHEESE,MIX WELL:

    GRATE CHEDDAR AND JACK CHEESE AND TAKE ABOUT 1/3 CUP OF EACH AND SET ASIDE, MIX THE REST OF THE CHEESE IN WITH THE MACARONI AND MIX WELL.
  • Step 5
    POUR INTO BAKING DISH, TAKE THE REMAINING CHEESE AND SPRINKLE OVER TOP. BAKE IN A PREHEATED 350* OVEN FOR 40 TO 45 MIN.
  • Step 6
    YOU CAN PUT BREAD CRUMBS ON TOP FOR THE LAST 10 MIN. OF BAKING IF DESIRED.
