I love baked Mac & Cheese, and this is the best recipe I have found, adapted from Taste of Home, Feb/Mar 2010. When I make this with my Cheesy Baked Chicken recipe, I also top this dish with any leftover crumbs.

Ingredients
- 4 cups uncooked macaroni
- 1/4 cup butter, cubed
- 1/4 cup flour
- 4 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 dash freshly grated nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup velvetta cheese, cubed
How To Make baked mac & cheese

Step 1Cook pasta according to directions and set aside.

Step 2In a large saucepan, melt butter, then stir in flour until smooth.

Step 3Gradually add milk; stir in the salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and nutmeg.

Step 4Bring to a boil; cook and stir 1-2 minutes until thickened.

Step 5Stir in cheeses until melted; stir in drained pasta.

Step 6Transfer to ungreased 2 qt baking dish; bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
