We've been making this recipe in our family for over 40 years. All the children in the family wouldn't eat sweet potatoes, so we called it yam casserole instead and they all ate it and loved it!!! They are adults now with their own families!!

Ingredients
- 2 cups yams, mashed ( or can use canned yams-30 oz)
- 1/4 cup sugar, more or less to taste
- 2 - eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 stick butter, melted
- TOPPING
- 3/4 stick butter, melted
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 3/4 cup corn flakes, crushed
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
How To Make yam casserole

Step 1Mix first 8 ingredients together well, bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or until set. Take out of oven and spread topping on top. Bake 10 minutes more.
