  • 2 15oz can(s)
    cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 Tbsp
    oregano, dried
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 c
    onion, chopped
  • 3 clove
    garlic, minced

How to Make White Beans With Oregano


  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and saute 5 to 7 minutes, or until onion begins to brown. Stir in garlic and oregano, and cook for 30 seconds or until fragrant.
  2. Add beans and 1 cup water and season, to taste, with salt and pepper. Reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer 15 minutes or until half the has evaporated. Beans should still be a little soupy.
