  • 16 oz
    italian sausage, mild
  • 1 small
    onion, finely chopped
  • 15 oz
    can butter beans
  • 15 oz
    can kidney beans
  • 32 oz
    bush's boston recipe or homestyle baked beans
  • 1/4 c
    worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    ground mustard
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • dash(es)
    salt and pepper

How to Make Trisha's Famous Baked Beans


  1. Fry sausage and onion together until completely cooked, then drain.
  2. Drain all the beans, except the baked beans.
  3. Add all beans, ground mustard, 1/4 cup brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. (Taste to make sure juice is sweet enough, if it's not add more brown sugar.)
  4. Put mixture into baking dish and bake in over at 375 for 20-25 minutes or until heated through.
