thelma's sausage stuffing
(1 RATING)
My mom used to make this for the holiday's. I've found we like it any time of year. Sometimes mom would stuff acorn squash with this stuffing and serve for thanksgiving. SHE didn't really care for Turkey so this would be our main dish.

- 16 ounces sour cream
How To Make thelma's sausage stuffing
-
Step 1Make the stuffing per the directions
-
Step 2Cook the sausage until all the pink is gone and it's in crumbles
-
Step 3Mix stuffing and sausage in large bowl, fold in the sour cream. Place in a casserole dish that has a lid, or cover in foil. Bake at 350 degrees for about an hour. If you like you can take the lid or foil off about the last 10 minutes so you will have a nice browned crisp top.
