This is a family favorite. I make it every Thanksgiving and always end up giving the recipe to all of our female guests...Everyone loves it!

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

3 lb
yams (about 6 yams) baked and skinned
1 stick
butter, softened
1/2 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
ginger
1 tsp
orange zest
1/2 c
whipped cream, unsweetened
3
eggs, whip until creamy

How to Make Thanksgiving Yam Soufffle

Step-by-Step

  • 1Whip yams until smooth. Mix the first 6 ingredients together and whip til blended
  • 2Beat the whipping cream til thick
  • 3Beat the eggs til creamy, then fold into the cream.
  • 4Fold the cream mixture into the yam mixture
  • 5Pour into GREASED casserole dish
  • 6Bake at 375* for 30 minutes..Yummy!
