i really do not know why they call this mac and cheese stupid any way it is very good i have to take it to every dinner i go to

Ingredients

11/2 cups elbow macaroni, cooked
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 dash pepper, or to your taste
2 cups milk
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded, sharp

How To Make stupid mac and cheese

Step 1

Cook macaroni, drain. Preheat oven to 350.

Step 2

In saucepan melt butter, stir in flour. salt, pepper and add milk and cook, while stirring until thickened and bubbly.
Step 3

Stir in 1 cup cheese until melted.Combine macaroni and sauce in buttered casserole.
Step 4

Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake at 350 oven for 30 minutes. You can sprinkle with a little paprika to aid in browning some.
