Ingredients

  • - turkey giblets
  • 8 tablespoons butter
  • 4 - celery tops
  • 20 slices bread
  • 20 slices salt rising bread
  • 16 ounces prepared stuffing mix
  • 2 cups chicken stock
  • 2 - onions, chopped

How To Make stuffing balls

  • Step 1
    Boil giblets, butter, and celery tops until done.
  • Step 2
    Toast breads, then break toast into small pieces.
  • Step 3
    Add prepared stuffing mix to toast.
  • Step 4
    Cook chopped onions in stock.
  • Step 5
    When tender, add to bread mix.
  • Step 6
    If dressing is too dry, add chicken stock for additional moisture.
  • Step 7
    Preheat oven to 350.
  • Step 8
    Form into serving-size balls and place in buttered baking dish.
  • Step 9
    Spoon additional broth over balls.
  • Step 10
    Bake 1 hour or until brown.
