This recipe has become part of my Prepare Mix file. It has an unknown author! We all use Stovetop Stuffing..and I find myself always out so.....

Ingredients

  • 6 cups cubed bread
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 3 teaspoons vegetable, chicken or beef bouillon (or cubes)
  • 1/4 cup dried minced onion
  • 1/2 cup dried minced celery
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon sage, dried
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

How To Make stove top stuffing mix

  • Step 1
    Cube bread, put on a baking sheet, dry in oven at 350F degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until moisture is completely gone. In a large bowl, toss bread with remaining ingredients until evenly coated. Store in an airtight container. It will keep for 1 to 4 months or 12 months frozen.
  • Step 2
    To Prepare Completed Stuffing Mix: Combine 2 cups stuffing mix with 1/2 cup water and 2 tablespoons melted butter.
