Me and my daddy used to make it and to this very day we still make it. He used to make jokes. We would laugh and laugh and laugh until are tummys would hurt. Like he would say "hey lill look its a eye ball".

Ingredients
- 2 - large eggs,beaten
- 1/4 cup milk or water
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash of pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter or stick of margarine
How To Make spaetzle

Step 1Mix eggs,milk,flour,salt and pepper[Batter will be thick].

Step 2Fill 4-quart dutch oven half full with water;heat to boiling.

Step 3press a few tbsp of the batter at a time through colander[preferably one with large holes]into boiling water.Stir once or twice to prevent sticking.

Step 4Cook about 5 min. or until spaetzle rise to surface and are tender;drain.Toss with butter.
