Ingredients
- 3 boxes jiffy cornbread -- prepared by directions; then crumbled and set aside.
- 4 tablespoons margarine
- 1 large onion -- diced
- 1/2 clove garlic -- minced
- 1 large bell pepper -- diced
- 3 - stalks of celery -- chopped
- 2 cans chicken broth
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2 tablespoons sage -- may add more or less; for your desire.
- 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Step 1Prepare the cornbread

Step 2Preheat oven to 350

Step 3Add butter, broth, onions, bell peppers, garlic, and celery to sauce pan until veggies are tender.

Step 4Stir veggies/broth and cornbread mixture together.

Step 5Mix in cream of chicken soup, garlic, poultry seasoning, pepper, and sage.

Step 6Blend with a potato masher until the mixture is the consistency of gelatin.

Step 7May need to add more broth as necessary to attain desired consistency.

Step 8Transfer to a baking dish and bake in preheated oven or until golden brown.
