  • 3 box
    jiffy cornbread -- prepared by directions; then crumbled and set aside.
  • 4 Tbsp
  • 1 large
    onion -- diced
  • 1/2 clove
    garlic -- minced
  • 1 large
    bell pepper -- diced
  • 3
    stalks of celery -- chopped
  • 2 can(s)
    chicken broth
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of chicken soup
  • 2 Tbsp
    sage -- may add more or less; for your desire.
  • 2 tsp
    poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground black pepper

How to Make Southern Touch Dressing


  1. Prepare the cornbread
  2. Preheat oven to 350
  3. Add butter, broth, onions, bell peppers, garlic, and celery to sauce pan until veggies are tender.
  4. Stir veggies/broth and cornbread mixture together.
  5. Mix in cream of chicken soup, garlic, poultry seasoning, pepper, and sage.
  6. Blend with a potato masher until the mixture is the consistency of gelatin.
  7. May need to add more broth as necessary to attain desired consistency.
  8. Transfer to a baking dish and bake in preheated oven or until golden brown.
