southern deviled eggs

I found a recipe by Paula Deen online and changed it a bit to fit my tastes. I made these for my son's bday and they were really good. I used hard boiled eggs in the package to save time and these were quick and easy to make.

Ingredients For southern deviled eggs

  • 14
    hard boiled eggs (i used pre hard boiled in pkg)
  • 1/2 c
    mayo
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp
    sweet relish
  • 2 tsp
    yellow mustard
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • paprika, for garnish

How To Make southern deviled eggs

  • 1
    Cut hard boiled eggs down the center lengthwise. Gently squeeze whites over a small mixing bowl to remove yolks. Place whites on a dish large enough to hold 28 halves.

    Combine remaining ingredients, except paprika, in the bowl with yolks. Mix well until smooth.

    Put yolk mixture in ziplock bag. Snip the tip of the bag with scissors and pipe mixture into egg white to fill hole. Garnish with paprika. Serve with gherkins:). Enjoy!
