Ingredients
- 2 cups cornmeal mix
- 2 - eggs
- 1/4 cup vegtable oil
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 cup butter milk
- 2 boxes jiffy corn bread mix
- 4 - strips bacon
- 4 - eggs boiled
- 1 - med onion diced
- 4 - stalks of celery ( chopped )
- 1 - bell pepper diced
- 4 tablespoons sage fresh or ground ( ur choice
- - salt & pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons montreal steak seasoning
- 4 cups chicken broth
How To Make southern cornbread dressing

Step 1preheat oven to 400 , mix cornmeal, raw eggs , sugar, buttermilk &oil in bowl pour in hot cast iron pan bake at 400 30 mins till done , let cool

Step 2mix jiffy mix according to directions on box & let cool, in pan heat 2 Tlbs butter cook bacon till crisp cook onions and bell peppers till done

Step 3crumble all cornbread in large pan add vegtables with cooking grease, chop boiled eggs add to mixture add everything else mix with hands well bake at 350 till it dont jiggle time is according to your oven

Step 4add more sage if you want it stronger or less of you want less this is a recipe that is to your taste
