Ingredients For smoked queso

  • 1 can
    cream of celery soup in the bottom of pan
  • 3
    chopped 3 large jalapenos
  • 1/2
    large white onion chopped
  • fresh pico
  • brown 1 lb 80%chuck with
  • 1 tsp
    fresh ground black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder
  • 3
    of mexican chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    cumin
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp
    smoked paprika

How To Make smoked queso

  • 1
    Layer onions, peppers,hamburger, Pico, chopped cilantro Dice 1- 2 lb box of Velveeta on top
  • 2
    Smoke on grill about 2 hours low and slow. Stir occasionally. This was mild. I prefer more spice but the kids would not eat it. 6 jalapenos would be best.
