You can always find these in Gramma Bea's frig. toward the end of summer when Papa's garden starts to produce cucumbers. Even as little as his garden is these days he still always wants one even at 86.

Ingredients For sliced refrigerator pickles

  • 10 c
    sliced cucumbers
  • 2 Tbsp
    salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    celery slt
  • 1
    onion diced
  • 1
    green pepper diced

How To Make sliced refrigerator pickles

  • 1
    Once you have all the things diced and into jars or a crock you need to make a brine. The brine is 2 c. sugar and 1 c. vinegar. Stir this until the sugar is dissolved and then pour over the pickles. These will keep in the refrigerator for months.
