Ingredients
- 12 asparagus tips
- sesame oil
- 4 ounces rice noodle
- 4 tablespoons mirin
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon kecap manis (sweet soy sauce)
- black and white sesame seeds for garnish
How To Make sesame marinated asparagus and noodles

Step 1Place the asparagus in a bowl and drizzle sesame oil over them and let marinate about 15 minutes.

Step 2Cook the noodles according to package direction. Drain. Mix the Mirin, rice vinegar, and sweet soy sauce together and set aside.

Step 3In a skillet preferable cast iron over high heat throw in the asparagus and cook about 5 minutes. Add the noodles in and then pour the Mirin mixture over. Cook 2 minutes.

Step 4Serve garnished with the sesame seeds. Serve immediately or chill and serve cold.
