Makes a great addition to homemade burrito bowl or taco salad.

Ingredients

  • 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1-2 clove garlic, minced or grated
  • 1/4 cup onion, minced
  • 1 - jalapeño, seeded and minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup minced cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt, or to taste

How To Make seasoned black beans

  • Step 1
    Mix ingredients together. Adjust seasonings to taste.
  • Step 2
    Optional: let sit for an hour before serving. Refrigerate leftovers.
