savory green tomato pie
I found this recipe last summer when I had tons of tomatoes from my garden. It's a little different.

Ingredients
- 4 - green tomatoes, peeled and sliced thim
- 10 - dried basil leaves, chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1 - 9 inch prebaked deep dish pie shell
- 1 cup grated mozzarella chees
- 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup paramasan cheese
- 1 cup mayonnaise
How To Make savory green tomato pie

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Step 2Place sliced tomatoes in colander in the sink in 1 layer. Sprinkle with salt/pepper and allow to drain for 10 minutes

Step 3Layer the tomato slices, basil and onion in the pie shell. Combine the grated cheeses and mayo then mix together. Spread the mixture on top of the tomato slices and bake for 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
