These beans are just the best! I got this recipe from my late mother in law years ago. She was the best cook and people love them. Great for BBQ's and awesome with a baked brisket in the dead of winter.....

    pork and beans
  • 10 slice
  • 1 bunch
    green onions (about 8 onions)
  • 2
    green peppers- chopped
  • 2 TBSP
    w"shire sauce
  • 1 tbsp
    liquid smoke flavoring
  • 1/3 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 c

How to Make Red's Smokin Baked Beans


  1. In a large bowl combine all ingredients except the bacon.
  2. Lay 5 slices of bacon in the bottom of a 9x13 pan. Then pour beans over the top and place last 5 slices across the top. Bake in a 325 degree oven for about 1 1/2 hours.
