I always make these for Easter...but I often get asked to make them throughout the year.

eggs, hard boiled
2 can(s)
sliced beets
1 c
sugar
1 c
vinegar
dash of salt
dash of pepper

How to Make Red Beets Eggs

Step-by-Step

  • 1Put eggs in jar. Cover with red beets and beet juice. Set aside.
  • 2In medium saucepan, combine vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Cook until sugar dissolves and the mixture comes to a boil. Pour over eggs and beets. Gently stir so all the eggs are covered. Let stand for 2-3 hours and refrigerate.
