Ingredients

2 cpinto beans **dried**
-
3ham hocks **fav smoked meats**
-
2 bottlebeer, dark
-
3 cwater
-
1 largeonion, chopped
-
1/2 cbell pepper, chopped
-
4 mediumgarlic cloves, chopped
-
1 mediumhabanero pepper, fresh & chopped
-
1 tspblack pepper
-
2 tspcumin powder
-
1 Tbspham base
-
·sea salt to taste
-
·sugar to taste
How to Make SW's Pinto Beans
- Soak beans for 6-8 hours. Fill 5 quart crock pot with water & beer. Add ham hocks, onion, garlic & ham base. Cover & cook on high for 2 hours. Meat should be tender
- Add beans and remaining ingredients. Cover and cook for 5 additional hours on low heat. Serve with cornbread. Yummy eats!!!
